Location great for our needs, Broadway and Madison Square. Room has been recently modernised, neat and tidy. We were located on the side not facing out to Times Square which is less noisy, but it is NYC if you want quiet either upgrade to top floors or stay in and around Central Park.

Times Square, Central Park, Rockafeller Centre, Radio City, Theatres, Byrant Park, Public Library, 5th Ave, Grand Central, Madison Square Garden, Empire State Bldg. Small rooms but comfortable and felt very safe. Great coffee across the road. Really friendly staff. Great value for money and very friendly staff!

I was really impressed by this hotel. I stayed in a 4-person shared room, just for one night. The bed was really comfortable (with curtains for privacy), the room was clean, and each person got a lockable closet. It's also really nicely decorated, with really nice public facilities. Great location too - just a 15 minute walk from Times Square. The only thing was that you could hear loud music from a bar (inside the hotel or somewhere else, not sure), but I was tired so fell asleep easily anyway. Would definitely stay here again.
"Union square so handy to everywhere"

Very conveniently located. We needed to get to Williamsburg every day via the L train, but wanted to stay in Manhatten for other options. When it's snowing and 20 degrees out you gotta make it easy as possible. Hotel is modern and clean with young friendly staff who were very eager to please. We would definitely return.
"Classic, Comfy, well located"

Stayed 6 nights as alternative hotel for a conference. Staff were courteous all the time, and had a lot of patience with me and my incoming packages from e-commerce sites. It's well located, close to subway, Central Park, food, etc. Other than having a hard time in some occasions to get a hold of the concierge, it was a great stay.
"Room was roomy for 3 adults"

Staff was very pleasant and helpful. The Room was great size for 3 adults, the only grizzle would be that the mattress on bed could of been a bit firmer. We got upgraded without asking and had a very pleasant stay. Maybe to improve things the doormen when asked to call a taxi for us to the airport puts his mobile phone down just for a minute and hail a taxi. Apart from that everything was fine.
