"Very nice place for Kampala. Beautiful campus that is peaceful and pretty. Rooms are nicely done close to First world standards. Not perfect but clean and excellenly done by African standards. :-) 3 excellent restaurants and shopping Mart on campus also! Highly recommend if your looking for a nice place to stay while in Kampala. Nearby the USA Embassy also. "

"Koki hotel is the place to lodge. From the rooms to the kitchen, all is perfect. I will clodge here again next July 2026. I can't dirget the security part of it. The hotel is directly opposite the Kampala Centeal police station. The hotel sitting on a fleet of stores, makes it easy fir one to change money and shop."

"The Four Points by Sheraton in Kololo is spotlessly new, classy, and very well managed. The staff are friendly and very professional. The neighbourhood is one of the safest and most upscale in Kampala. However, unlike some of the other big high-end hotels in the city, they dont offer a buffet for dinner consistently."

Asked for help and advice on getting a bus to Mutukula but ended up having to get up very early just to get a taxi to a bus station that didn’t go where we wanted which was disappointing. Laundry is 5000 shillings per item! "

"While the location is chaotic and busy the actual hotel was surprisingly good. Very nice and clean rooms to really affordable prices, The food at the hotel restaurant was really good and the staff was amazing. The only issue is to get a taxi driver to want to drive downtown where the hotel is due to the busy traffic around the area. But highly recommend this hotel as it is really good value for the money."

"For me Speke Hotel was nearly perfect. The location was close enough to the heart of the city but in a very quiet district. The onsite dining and food options were diverse and very entertaining, with a great ambiance. Excellent hospitality, warm, caring and eager without motive, always available and accommodating. "I have had a very pleasant stay at the Ruch hotel. The staff members were very, polite, professional, caring, competent and compassionate and well presented. The hotel facilitated my all transport arrangements both inside outside the city Kampala and naturally I felt very safe when I was exploring the city. I would definitely recommend the Ruch.
