"Clean rooms. Good location. Excellent staff. Kitchen in room was very useful. Breakfast was sufficient. Hit the spot Hotel overall was very good, but needs a refresh and is beginning to show its age. Building works all round the area, so hard to avoid noise. It was the down season so it is expected that work would be happening in the area in preparation for the high season. Just be aware that there is a major building under construction next door."

"Centara Grand Karon Beach has a beautiful setting overlooking the beach, it is well equipped for families with young kids from preschool to tweens offering shallow pools, lazy river, modest water slides and an adrenalin inducing rock jump. The rooms are very pleasant with great ocean views and there is also an adults only pool. Food wise it is pretty good, the Thai food was our favourite but European seafood, Western kids favourites and some Indian food is on offer. The resort makes an effort to mix things up with night"street food" markets but get in early for those else it's not worth it (ie if back later from a day trip). It's a great place to laze, keep kids occupied and there are plenty of day trip options. If you want to save a bit of cash you can eat very cheaply in the nearby town, also suggest to organise your own transfers and tours as the mark-ups they have through their tours desk are ridiculous. Overall it is a great resort, we enjoyed it and would happily stay at Centara group resorts again."

"Nous avons passé 2 nuits dans une chambre prenium. Accueil incroyable, on vous conduit dans votre chambre avec une voiture de golf . La chambre est incroyable, douche extérieure, baignoire intérieur. De plus une corbeille de fruits nous attendait. Les extérieurs de l hotel sont magnifiques. 2 piscines dint une avec un bar et les prix sont accessibles. "We booked the half board option, plenty of flavours and good value for a family who can never agree on food, could have lunch or dinner 2 course from the restaurant menu. Food was very good and reason we booked. Gym was a bit of an after thought, small, strange hand weights, minimal lighter weights, no kettle bells. Kids club better suited to younger children, more play options, less options for 11 + yrs although there's pool table, 1 large swimming pool fish feeding and table football. There's is a hill to hotel, it's ok if you like to walk off the dinners and breakfasts!"
