Five Star Hotels in Ubud

Our website is your best bet when seeking five star hotels in Ubud or other hotspots in Bali. Think Bali and most travellers start going into dreamland, enjoying the warm tropical sun, soft sandy beaches and sipping cocktails with the sound of waves sweeping up the shore lulling you into a pleasant slumber.

Bali’s landscape is a harmonious blend of hills, mountains, rugged coastlines, sandy beaches and volcanic hillsides, creating a view that is thought to be found only in storybooks. This slice of paradise, with its lush rice terraces and friendly hospitable atmosphere, is a definite must-see for travellers of all sorts.

Things to see

Those with an appreciative eye for beautiful landscapes will love Jimbaran Bay and the beaches there like Balangan, found on the north coast. Some parts of the coastline provide unobstructed views of the sunset, creating a romantic atmosphere for couples and a memorable sight for families. Move a short distance from the coast and you’ll find lush rice terraces scattered across various regions. One of the best views can be found in north of Ubud and east of Bali, around Tirta Gangga.

Water activities are easily available, given the abundance of coastline on the island. There are plenty of scuba diving sites around Bali, with the wreck of USAT Liberty at Tulamben and the chilled serene reefs around Manjangan Island being some of the more popular ones. Other water activities on Bali include surfing, white water rafting and sport fishing.

Hotels in Bali

No matter your specifications or preferences, our site can help sieve through Ubud for your ideal accommodation. Plenty of choices can be found on our site, and visitors on all sorts of budgets can expect to find comfortable accommodation here. Options range from simple B&Bs and surfer bungalows to opulent hotels and decadent villas with luxurious amenities. Getting around is easier on foot, especially within major tourist areas where traffic can become rather congested. So finding lodging in a convenient location would contribute to a much happier trip.

Where to stay

South Bali is the most visited part of the island and for good reason. Here you can find the famed Tanah Lot temple, high-end beach front establishments like Ku De Ta and an impressive range of decadent spa facilities. Visitors looking to ease their stresses away can have a luxurious spa treatment every other day, with a generous budget of course. The sunsets in this region are famous, especially when viewed from the continuous stretch of grey sanded Seminyak and Petitenget Beaches.

Seekers of culture and arts can look to Central Bali for an enriching stay. Historical sites include Goa Gajah, also known as Elephant Caves, where you can find elaborately carved statues and a little path that leads to a waterfall and serene rice fields. There are also opportunities for white-water rafting, off-road cycling and trekking in around Ubud area.

How to get to Bali

Ngurah Rai is the main gateway for travellers coming in by air. Some hotels provide free transfers, but there are plenty of taxis available at the ticketing booth. There are also ferries that come in from Java, Lembar and Lombok every few hours, and are very economical in rates. Renting a car with a driver is recommended for first time visitors, and is a great way to get from the airport to your accommodation.
