The bathroom was adequate but vanity way too small and very poor lighting over hallway vanity. The carpet and bedspread was quite shabby.

The location was quiet and the room was spacious and comfortable. There were 3 spiders in the tub and the hair dryer did not work. We had breakfast elsewhere because the continental breakfast provided was very limited and the dining area was not attractive.

The website showed it as an inn, not an old Motel. The room smelled musty when we went into it and when we opened the sliding glass door to let in some air, there was black mold along the rim that the glass door rode on.

I have stayed at the Inn multiple times and was very pleased. This visit, our room was not as nice as usual. There was a strong musty smell upon entering that eventually subsided after we opened the windows. The bedding was mismatched, the rug was frayed, and the lighting was poor. It just didn't present a welcoming atmosphere, nor was it the kind of room I was accustomed to staying in while at the Inn. Still a good stay, but the room could use some attention.

It was last-minute, but the room was clean and the family who runs it is nice. The bedspread print has a weird anomaly that makes it look like there's dirt, but there isn't. Morning coffee was delicious!

Clean, Quiet, Quality at a Budget Price

Definitely getting more than you paid for in a budget price range. This is a very typical motel style building, but everything is nice and well cared for. Clean, comfortable rooms. Very quiet. Awesome grounds, with a big park-like yard. A/C worked great. Breakfast covered the basics well- bagels, cereal, yogurt, fresh waffles, fruit, fresh coffee. Owners were pleasant.

I don't normally leave reviews, but Putney Inn is well worth a review. April at the front desk went WELL over the top to make my stay amazing. She gave me a room that about had me speechless. It was amazing!! I will totally be staying here again!

Cozy place near the highway. The bedrooms were a little outdated, but TV had many channels and the bathroom was nice. We had multiple spiders in our room the first night. They were great and moved us rooms.

Good, affordable option close to I-91

Basic, affordable motel conveniently located off I-91. It’s dated and nothing fancy, but the service is friendly, rooms are spacious, comfortable, and have a fridge and microwave and coffee maker. A basic continental breakfast is included. Everything we needed for our short stay.
