My home away from home

As always, The crew of this property has got the stay covered. Super friendly reception, great breakfast and love the little music box in the room. A well stocked minibar and little things make this my go to hotel when in stockholm. On the island of Djurgården so peaceful and quiet, now off season. Easy to get to city centre with tram or ferry (to Nybroplan or Söder). Can only give this a strong recommendation if you are looking for few nights stay in Stockholm.

You feel like a guest and at home. Its location allows you to be next to Stockholm but in the suburbs. Local trails and walks are outside the door. A city ferry gets you to the old toen in 20 minutes.

Fantastisk frukost! Man fick beställa varmrätter från en meny så maten var fräsch och de klassiska rätterna hade en liten twist som gjorde dem ännu godare. Kuddarna var dock de sämste hotellkuddar jag varit med om. Noll stöd så nästa gång får jag ta med egen kudde. Lite för mjuka sängar för mitt tycke men sambon tyckte de var sköna.

Rummet var okej men inte mer. Litet och med möbleringen hårt ihopträngt så det kändes trångt och inget rum man ville va i trots att detta var ett s k superior rum. Blandaren i badrummet saknade knappen för att reglera temperaturen på vattnet. Man fick liksom testa att vrida den åt olika håll för att hitta bra temperatur. Den, liksom mycket i rummet kändes slitet. Ena sänglampan hade bara blåttljus vilket inte går att läsa med. Den andra hade normalt ljus men var irriterande att man inte kunde välja själv vilket ljus man ville ha i lampan. Lyhört, man hörde mycket från korridoren samt när grannen använde sitt badrum. Skulle vara ett 4,5 stjärnigt hotell men kändes mer som ett 3 eller på sin höjd 3,5 stjärnigt. Med tanke på priset så var det absolut inte prisvärt.

Bra läge och överlag höga betyg men…hur i h-e kan man ha en badrumskran för dusch och bad som kräver en utbildning för att kunna användas, vilket bottennapp. Hade det inte varit för allt annat som var på topp så hade den oerhört icke-intuitiva kranupplevelse gett en 1:a i betyg.
