The stay was mostly ok. A very nice looking hotel on the inside, and although the check-in process was smooth and friendly, when my gf arrived (see was working when I checked in), they really made her feel like a street worker. The top floor restaurant, Admiral Club Manila Bay, was a very nice setting, but service was not good and they used way too much salt on all the dishes. I should point out that we ordered al la cart off the menu. We did not do the buffet. They have a really cool speak easy bar that is open until 1 a.m. but has a last call at midnight. I thought that was a bad practice.

Overrated hotel. Look elsewhere

Well let me say that the hotel is clean but boring and no charm. The rooms facing the bay or rather the road are noisy. The atrium room view is like looking at a prison wall. I would stay at the Manila Hotel which has charm over this overrated boring hotel. Save your money and look elsewhere. The pictures are a poor representation of what you really get. The pool is small and the restaurant at pool level has a dress code for no sandals which is odd since it is at pool side. The food is bland and overpriced. Also found it rather appalling that they check your room before they let you check out.

Friendly staff. Had an issue one night with water dripping into the room and caused the electrical to short out. No compensation was offered. Cleaning staff is good but forgets the finer details you would expect from a 4 star hotel. Like robes not being replaced. Room service was overpriced. Way overpriced.
