The Cottage was newly finished in February 2018 and offers the latest in creature comforts: new kitchen and baths, new appliances, and heated floors in the bathrooms.
The cottage is open concept with a vaulted ceiling—great for sharing family time—and has lots of light and a traditional stone fireplace.
The bedrooms all have new top-of-the-line beds as of summer 2018 and include built-in shelving in all closets. The master suite has a king-size bed and the others are queen-size.
Also includes central air conditioning, dehumidifier/humidifier, Spotify, wifi, "Alexa", furnace, generator. Two large TV's, one in living room and one in guest bedroom. TV in "bunky" as well. Also includes a new quality paddle board, canoe, three kayaks, fishing tackle and tips from a local.
Located 22 minutes by car drive from Port Carling, and near the end of the island’s closed loop road—the cottage is located away from hotels, marinas, stores and on the water away from major boat traffic areas and river mouths. There are no boat traffic issues and things tend to be pretty quiet. The interior land of the island—a five minute walk—has a basketball half court, a baseball diamond, a soccer field, Gazebo, BBQ, picnic tables, and more.
We also have a small 50 hp boat will rent as well if desired, great for fishing. (Excellent fishing, small mouth bass, lake trout and more.) Large 14 foot wide by 45 foot long dock in front of cottage, like a deck on the water. One slip boathouse as well.
Stores can be found in Port Carling, but several stores are closer, some are accessible by water. There is a luxury spa 7 minutes away and fine dining all year around.
