Nice place, but needs work
This was a beautiful location. The views were amazing. The beach was more of a gravel and not sandy. Swimming was ok, but make sure you wear water shoes as there was rocks and coral all over the place that could cut your feet. The rooms were very nice, but the walls were paper thin and we could hear the person in the adjoining room snore all night. The sound of the TV and talking could be heard in the neighbouring room too. It would be nice if there were stairs from the rooms down to the beach area as the road is difficult to walk due to rocks. The food was very good size portions, but most meals were below average in quality. The staff were good to deal with throughout the resort.

What I liked: Beautiful and serene views, spacious and comfortable room, beautiful pool; friendly staff; easy check-in; free car park; raki raki town is close; 7 mins to Tanoa hotel What I didn't like: no reception number on the phone so didn't know which number to call; food delivery to the room taking too long; requested for your vehicle (buggy) to come up to load our bags when checking out - it was not communicated so had to stop the buggy on the trip up to tell to load our bags; poor utensil facilities - there was no wine glass; no plates; no cutlery - had to request for it; no lights from the main road to the motel- was difficult driving at night; should also improve gravel road to the motel; a sink/stove/microwave would have been convenient - it shows on your brochure but not there; your pricing for laundary is way too expensive - should charge by the load not by the number of garments; no tea towel provided; driveway from reception to the room needs improvement - I saved myself from falling a few times.
