I had never stayed at a bed and breakfast before booking Jefferson House while attending a conference. It was such a unique and positive experience. The home is beautiful, and you can really see the care that was taken in preserving its character, its soul. I don't want to sound like I'm overstating this, but the breakfast was excellent. It was quite possibly the best breakfast I've ever eaten on both mornings that I stayed. The owners are a sweet and friendly couple, who really seem to care about their guests. I could write so much more, but to boil it down: I whole-heartedly and highly recommend staying at Jefferson House to anyone in the Kansas City area.

Awesome Place to Stay!
This was our second visit to the Jefferson House, and we loved it just as much as our first one. Peter and Theresa are so welcoming and helpful, and the breakfast they make is incredible! The location is great, as well, especially if you have anything to do in the downtown area.

Our stay at the Jefferson House absolutely wonderful. Teresa and Peter, the owners, were so friendly and helpful. They provided pamphlets and info for getting around KC, yummy restaurants to visit, and great sights to see. It was quiet, relaxing, just the place to recharge one's soul!
