About this cottage

Sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms; 1 double room with an addtional single, 1 single room and 1 twin room2 pets welsome. £30 per week per pet payable to owner. Rowan House is a very attractive family property, quietly situated around a circled ‘green’ in a peaceful area, close to the lighthouse and cliff tops. With off road parking for 2 cars, the house offers homely and very comfortable accommodation for a family. Perfect for quiet breaks and weekends out of season too! The rear garden is totally enclosed (with deep fencing so pets are safe) and private to the rear, with lawn and small paved area. Outdoor table and chairs. Light and airy throughout, with gas central heating the property comprises; Ground Floor; entrance into hall, staircase, lounge/dining room with cosy wood burner, perfect for those chilly autumn evenings and large patio doors overlooking the garden. Kitchen with electric cooker and hob, with access to small sitting area just for two with door into garden. First floor; landing with three bedrooms: Master bedroom has a double and single with room for cot, and ensuite shower room (shower, washbasin & WC). Second bedroom has twins. Third bedroom with a single. Distant sea views from the two front bedrooms. Family bathroom with bath (shower over) and washbasin. Separate WC. NB: the owner lives next door and shares the driveway. Parking; On the driveway which is shared with the ownerGarden: Rear garden that is completely private and dog proof (having had netting dug into the ground). Small patio with lawn and shrubs. Garden furniture.Pet payment to be made to owner with RBD. Returnable breakage deposit £100. (RBD) Owners will contact guest to collect payment nearer the holiday. Once owner receives payment then guest will be issued with arrival and departure details a week prior to their arrival. RDB is refunded back on to guests payment card a few days after their stay after owner/cleaner has confirmed no damages. Guest Reviews; 13 - 20 May 2019, R. S.H.C.L.J - We've thoroughly enjoyed our week here. The house has been perfect for us and the grandchildren. It has been lovely to spend time with our son, his wife and the grandchildren in such a peaceful and pretty location. You provided every possible thing we would need and even arranged that it didn't rain on us ! Thank you for all the extra little touches that made us feel welcome. Hunstanton is a lovely place and the area has some beautiful scenery and beaches. We would defiantly like to stay here again . Only 5 – 10 minutes’ walk away is Old Hunstanton’s soft sandy beach and dunes. This charming village is very popular with its restaurants, village shop and delicatessen. Hunstanton town centre and many other holiday amenities are about half a mile in the other direction, although the busy ‘land train’ which stops near the lighthouse travels along the cliff tops, stopping at the town centre and onwards to the south end of the town where you will find Tesco supermarket, the fairground and prior to those, the theatre, leisure centre, bowling and more. Walking along the cliff tops to Hunstanton is a ‘must’ at any time of year whilst you take in the magnificent panoramic views of the Wash and beyond with flocks of birds, fishing boats and distant ships all catching the tide. To explore further along the coast and inland you only have to travel within a small radius to visit Bird Reserves, Stately Homes, Golf Links, Norfolk Lavender and many more places of interest in this area of outsta
