Profile: Toronto Entertainment District

Profile: Toronto Entertainment District

The Toronto Entertainment District is one of the city’s most energetic areas. In the heart of downtown Toronto, and just blocks from Lake Ontario’s harbors, the district brims with nightclubs, theaters, performing arts venues, and cocktail bars. Lively crowds commingle with artsy, bohemian types, giving the area a versatile, welcoming feel.

The ornate Royal Alexandra Theatre on King Street is one of the district’s highlights—stage fanatics will delight in the musicals and comedies performed here. The family-friendly Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada is a crowd-pleasing public spot offering interactive programs and classic exhibits.

Carpet had stain marks; there was an eaten fruit kernel lying in the living room. Overall not so bad but can do more to clean the rooms

I think next time I will just book a hotel as they did not fix the tub. The fridge did not work right the whole time even though I called about these issues they were not resolved and no credit applied. I book an apartment for a reason to save money but it cost me the same. I will be booking at the same time next year at it will never be with your company again. I asked for my bath tub to be looked at and fridge/ freezer and nothing ever came of it. I would never rent from them again

Place was run down. Neither couch was in working condition , both the couch and chair were broken and could not be sat in. Didn’t bother using the Television. There were issues with the parking garage . Could not get it and the people on service line weren’t much help. Once I could park and could get into the suite, I was not impressed. There were blinds missing, the carpet had many stains, the walls needed painting, the couches were broken so I just couldn’t stay. I left my car in it’s parking spot and booked a room in the residence inn across the street. I would complain, but there’s no front desk or customer service line. Will never use this service again. Stick with a solid brand hotel. Lesson learned.

Will not stay here again. The couch was broken. Your butt would be 3” off the floor if you sat on it. Called their ‘support’ line and just got an answering machine

Ok for a couple of days as an affordable base to explore Toronto. Comfortable bed, Well located for key sights, Working washer and tumble dryer. Key pick up and drop off arrangements worked well and good communication from owners on these arrangements. Plenty of towels etc for 2 people. Condition of flat was really disappointing. Bathroom is in serious need of an update as it really lets this property down. The door and the base around the vanity unit was in an awful state (looked dirty, bathroom door cracked at bottom and all needs sanding and repainting) - very 80s décor compared to rest of flat. For those who are tall - the top of the (massive) fridge really needed cleaning and the light coloured curtains in the bedroom were stained . Flat would really benefit from some decent quality black out curtains and some painting/maintenance. Didn't use the oven -were loads of bowls/plates in cupboards - but very few cups/mugs (3 in total) or cutlery (I went and bought an extra cheap mug and teaspoon!) Handle on microwave was broken off. Overlooking a building in the midst of demolition so not the best view and quite noisy in the day as a result

    Excellent experience with some comment

It was a wonderful experience while staying in the flat. The issues relating to collection of keys at late night is a genuine problem. Besides they have not provided the minimum thing in the kitchen like tea coffee, sugar, salt etc.

    Poor rating

The apartment location was great and the size was sufficient but it was very dirty and old, with lots of mold in the kitchen and bathroom (moldy shower curtain), bathroom sink didn't drain properly, room was very hot even with thermostat turned off and window open in bedroom. Kitchen was dirty, not a big enough garbage bin with no garbage bags, no dish towels to clean anything, lots of grease on the stovetop and microwave (also had the handle broken off), no pan to use in the oven (which was also very dirty). As well, there was very loud construction right outside window that started at 7 am every morning, overall I would not give this a rater above 2.5!
