Profile: Financial District

Profile: Financial District

The Financial District in central Toronto, an economic powerhouse, is known for its imposing skyline. Some of the world’s tallest buildings reside here, including First Canadian Place. You may notice that the main thoroughfare, Bay Street, bears some resemblance to Wall Street.

There are other landmarks here as well, including the dramatic Design Exchange museum. You’ll want to head underground—quite literally—to visit the PATH, an enormous, sub-terrestrial shopping center beneath the bustling financial buildings above. Nearly 1200 dining and shopping options fill this vast space.

It was a nice change of scenery

Overall, the stay was fine. There were a few things that we did not like: Our t.v. went blank after about 30 mins but then it would come back after about 1 min. The clock radio had the wrong time and you could not change it. The room was a little dusty. The self-parking was EXTREMELY expensive... Few things we did like: Even though the executive lounge was not open, having an appetizer and breakfast in the Tundra worked well. The gym facilities was nice but hard to get in... because vaccination status needed to be checked... maybe a better process for it?

    Not amazing, but good

Everything was good but nothing was amazing to make it a 4-star experience and worth the extra money compared to a 3-star hotel. Only two bath towels in the room and they automatically assume you don't need house cleaning unless you ask for it.

    Should be parking included

I'm sorry but for the price of these rooms, and the fact that the parking garage is under the building, parking should be included. You need to pay an additional $30/ night just to park. Just add it to the price

Not even close to being worth the money

Had a less than pleasant stay. This room was nothing like the images provided on the app, no"deluxe" about this queen room. every possible thing that they could charge more for they did. Wifi, parking even coffee everything extra. They would not accept the card I used to book through the app, the quality of the room to the cost was excessive and not worth it whatsoever, very unimpressed and could've stayed in any of the nearby hotels for less money and better service. The room phone didn't even work and

    Book somewhere else...

Rooms aren't clean, check the back of the bathroom door (sliming with brown drops) and all the corners, long time dirt acumulation, the pool everything above water level is filthy & black, carpets in corridor of our room level is more than due to be changed, and elevetor buttons are discusting...Not counting the humidity smell in the room, not worth the 300$ a night for sure.

    Poor service and hospitality

We arrived And ask for a bottle of water at the reception They mentioned to as that we could try to buy at the gift shop on the other side, went to the store at 12:30 (afternoon) the store was close. When’s to the swimming we ask if the bar/food service was open and actually was close . Went back downstairs at the store 12:50 To get some toys for my daughter was still close. The sai to us we could order some food from Uber and a concierge will bring to the swimming pool to us,our food arrived at 2:00 pm and I have to go grab from the front desk 20 min later. The swimming pool look like was serviced 5 years ago all cement crack around one of my children scratch her leg was a disaster. At 6:30 pm we decided to go for dinner I stopped at the front desk and I asked the to please bring to our room a basket for wine and 2 wine glasses. We came back around 10:30 pm at night Nothing was dropped on our room. Also try 2 different floor the ice machine wasn’t working (3pm)
