Came to visit Toronto with our 11 year old daughter for March Break, Hilton Toronto was a great fit for us due to location. We had booked 2 queen beds check in is at 4, we arrived at 435 to be told there are unfortunately no 2 queen rooms available because of an incident that got the entire floor closed down for renovations, but was offered an upgrade to a king size bed room. I reminded the front desk agent that I had my daughter here she suggested a cot bed for no extra charge. For the amount of money we are paying for a room, and to make my daughters first time in Toronto memorable , I would rather not her sleep on a cot! She then said she could give us a king size bed with pull out couch but would have to wait a bit, she was going to put a "rush" on cleaning and text us when the room was ready. 45 mins later we are still in lobby waiting my husband decided to go back and complain, a nice gentleman told us no worries I will get you a 2 queen size bed room recently upgraded right away and offered a discount on our room which was appreciated. Arrived at the room, TV didnt work, someone was sent quickly to fix it, only cable TV available. Fridge in room is not very cold, WIFI is weak, and coffee in room was not good. Dont think we will return!
