Nice Hotel in East Austin

Stayed here for 2 nights in Jan 2023. Hotel staff was very friendly. Check in was easy and came with free beverages, check out was via text. Valet parking (with in/out privilege's) is only real option and it was $30 a night +tax. We took a cab into downtown area and then walked our way back. Drove to SoCo. Couldn't use our cell phones in room (couldn't connect to data) until we enabled their free wifi, probably due to the concrete construction of the building. Room was spacious, comfortable and decor was fun but bathroom door didn't have a lock, fridge was full of items for purchase and there was no luggage rack. Shower includes bath gel, shampoo and conditioner. One annoying thing, there is a frosted glass window between the main room and the shower. The window is right at the side of one of the beds. When anyone goes in the bathroom at night and turns on the light, it lights up the main room! Good variety of restaurants nearby and a few are open late.
