Needs an overhaul
Was upgraded to a superior king room by the lovely receptionist. Room okay facing the street. Decoration needs updating, looking tired and need of an overhaul. Bed really comfortable. Though did not sleep very well. The noise from the street/nightclub and guests above kept me awake for most of the night. As expected it’s an old building but floorboards above creaked with every move. The light from the corridor shone through the large gab in the door. Shame as really well situated and plenty of room in the car park which was 20.00 for one night.

The location was great but the hotel is showing its age - the floors creak very loudly. There was a towel warming rack in the bathroom that made me stay very comfortable.
