Anniversary Stay
Anniversary stay was perfect...just one night and front desk had a beautiful upgrade for a nominal fee - well worth it! Had a before dinner drink at Top of the Mark with a great view all around!! Thank you for the amenities and great service with a personal note from the staff wishing us a Happy Anniversary

Historic hotel in a great area.
Rooms are great. Service in restaurants is a bit a slow. Recommend they hire more wait staff. Bed was a bit soft for my taste but the room was clean, big and had great views.

Worn out hotel
The front desk clerk was rude and inconsiderate. He informed us that we were not IHG members and there would be no points for the room rental. I insisted I was. He said there is no record of my being a member and that the reservation was under my husbands name this was true. I called Hotels.com and changed the reservation to me since it was my credit card used to pay for the hotel. I then took the information back down to the desk along with my IHG information. He said rudely it did not matter as I made the reservation thru Hotels.com. I also encountered a rude waiter in the Top of the Mark. I ordered Irish Mist up and a decaf coffee back. He made me repeat 3 times then he said they did not have Irish Mist I asked him if he would check with the bartender he said no. I was treated as though I had never drank Irish Mist before he had never heard of it. Making matters worse was the fact that the King bed had two very big dips on either side of the bed. The springs were so badly broken down the hotel tried to hide by putting a 2" gel pad over the broken down mattress. We slept poorly and especially since I sleep on my side.
