Dog-welcoming, but not the dog-friendliest area
Great location but, for a hotel that prides itself on being pet-friendly, there was nearly no dirt or grass space for dogs within 2 blocks of the hotel. To make things worse, our room was 0.2 miles from the elevator - no kiddding, we measured it. So, we walk nearly a quarter of a mile just to get out of the hotel and then have to desperately search for some grass for the dog.

Hotel guest mixing highlight of recent stay.
Check very brief. Not told about amenities and room had no info. Had to go back to desk for wi-fi info. Another guest told me about getting coffee pot in room and last day another guest told me about comp bike. But morning coffee and evening happy hour were great for mixing with other guests which became highlight of the hotel stay. No tourist info at hotel and generally SFO was terrible for trying to get a map. Room smaller than expected but still very comfortable.
