Hotel is Closed.Booking was Transferred to Ritz,KL
The below review is for the Ritz-Carlton, KL as JW Marriott, KL was closed for Renovation. Although we called the Hotel and asked for confirmation if the Hotel was open and the front desk said that it was, a few days after making the booking we received an email that JW Marriott was in fact closed and that our Booking was transferred to the Ritz-Carlton, KL. Pros : ✓ Good Location - Close to Pavilion ✓ Good Service by the Front Desk, Bellmen and Mohd Arshad who was serving us during Breakfast ✓ Rooms were clean, big and spacious. Bedding was comfortable Cons : ✖ You've to pay for Parking at the Hotel. RM12 per Entry. So if you were to drive during your stay, you've to pay RM12 each time to come back to the Hotel. ✖ Breakfast is the limited and the same Menu everyday. We stayed there for 3 nights and were bored of breakfast. We expected a bigger variety for a Hotel like the Ritz. ✖ They have two Swimming Pools but only 1 is open as the other one is close to a construction site next door. So its closed for safety purpose. That being said, the remaining 1 Pool is pretty small. So with the current SOPs, only 7 pax can use the Pool at any one time. ✖ We informed the Hotel that we were celebrating a Birthday during the stay and all we got were some balloons in the Room. Expected something a lil more substantial from a hotel like the Ritz.

I have a very great day in JW Marriott Hotel, helpful staff assisted me in my proposal plan, location exactly opposite of Pavillion mall, everything is wonderful However, the next day when we going to have our breakfast, the choices is of food is not much, and food always out of stock, we spend half hour queueing and end up only can get Nasi lemak and eggs, the breakfast costs us RM60/pax, very not worth, all of us 7 ppl, with rm420 we could go in mall to get some really nice food, and mayb still cheaper than that

my worst dining experience in a 5 stars hotel
Check in was slow, took him 15 mins to get my room key card done. Room was clean and specious. No complaint on the room. The dining experience is horrendous. After checked in to our room, we went down to the bar to redeem our free cocktail. We spent a good 10 mins standing at the entrance of the bar, waiting to be seated, and there were tons of staffs walking passed us and they noticed us and no one came to attend to us. So we walked away to Pavillion to had some food. The next morning breakfast is the low light of our stay. We arrived at the entrance of the breakfast hall, and again waited a good 15 minutes before we were seated near the kitchen entrance. We sat down and order immediately. I ordered a plate of nasi lemak and my wife ordered an American breakfast. They serve the coffee and fruits fairly promptly. And then it all went wrong after that. My wife American breakfast came 30 mins later. Nothing fancy, a sausage, hash brown, bacon stripes, grilled tomato and sunny Side up. And my nasi lemak came 10 mins later!!!!! And it was mediocre with a tiny piece of chicken rendang and the usual suspects. Waited 40 mins for a plate of nasi lemak where all the ingredients had been precooked and all the chef had to do was to put everything on the plate and serve. I can do it in less than 5 mins. Super disappointed with these experiences! I know the room rate had been heavily discounted but that doesn't mean you can discount on your level of hospitality and services.

Best Hotel on Bukit Bintung!
Stay here and be treated like a true guest!! The staff is amazing, the comfort level excellent (especially the tub n they even give bath salts), the pool n spa top notch (they graciously give sliced apples n ice water by the pool), the Executive Lounge food is delicious (Velu the head man remembers guests names n what they like). The front end manager gave us his card n asked if our stay was good...we could only reply “wonderful!!” Stay here n be pampered 😊👍
