Meant to get hotel room, but was OK for one night.
The entire stay was lovely. Front desk was very accommodating and allowed for a slightly early check in. Room was comfy, pool and lounge area were fantastic hang out spots after a long day in the sun! Extras like open air showers near pool were just the topping on the cake!
The stay was nice. Bed was really good, also the mattress. You share the room, but you can still have a kind of privacy. The bathroom is in the room, that was cool, but it is a bit old and the both the shower tap and the sink tap, did not close well so, they drop water all the time. Also, the lockers are good, but you need a big padlock to close... or you can still open the locker. The garden and the pool are great. You can meet people and have some drinks in the bar in the garden, at night. The breakfast was ok, but not great. And after 1 hour, you can´t find a lot of things.
I always love freehand it’s cute nostalgic vintage easy-going and fun vibe is very attractive, but it could stand some amenities upgraded. For one the shower head/system should at least be changed so the water isn’t drooping it’s way down to me the pressure is much too low and the shower head is too small/old for modern standards. I love the nostalgic vibe but pls can I take a normal shower in 2018 not 1930 thank you. The staff is great and the food and drinks are always outstanding. If only I could take showers that don’t take twice my normal shower time I’d be loyal forever!
The atmosphere of the courtyard is superb, especially considering it's location in South Beach
