Incredible Stay- Home Away from Home
Lucked up and found Salav Guesthouse on my first visit to Praia. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, the home and grounds were quiet, safe and extremely well-maintained. Loved the sounds (Cabo Verdan music always playing in the background) smells (sandalwood?, clean & fresh) and sights (incredible view). Spent some time using the patio overlooking the ocean as an unofficial office (using WiFi to work on a project, hosting partners). The room was comfortable and just like the rest of the house, featured meticulously curated African décor. Breakfast there was always a perfect way to start the day. Sharing a bathroom was not a problem during my week’s stay – and all of the other great things about this place more than made up for any inconvenience. It truly was a home away from home and I highly recommend Salav Guesthouse.

Nice hotel, but noisy at night
Nice hotel with very polite and serviceminded personnel. Good breakfast. Nice view from the balcony. However, at evenings and at night there are too much noise and too loud music from the beach bars and nightclubs. This hotel suit young people who like to party all night, and don't need to sleep at night.

Une très bonne adresse à Praia !
Court séjour dans cette guesthouse située dans le quartier des ambassades et de l'assemblée nationale du Cap-Vert, surplombant la belle plage de sable noir de Quebra Canela, à 10 minutes à pied du Plato (le centre de Praia). Salle de bain-toilette partagée avec plusieurs chambres, parties communes bien aménagées et confortables, bon petit-déjeuner servi en terrasse avec vue sur la mer. Le bruit venant des bars de la plage peut être incommodant la nuit. Equipe sympathique, bon service.
