Let me start by saying the staff were all VERY friendly, everyone wanted to help and truly were enjoyable. That being said, the hotel itself was not up to par, even for a cheap strip hotel. I wasn't anticipating silk curtains and free champagne, but I was anticipating a simple, clean place to rest my head during my vacation. Upon arriving we noticed the light switched was stained with that I HOPE was only Cheeto dust. The carpet was filthy. I got out of the shower only to spot a cockroach. When I ran across the room to call the front desk to let them know I noticed that my feet were black. The carpet was so filthy it stained my feet. When maintenance came in to fix the roach problem they sprayed the room down with chemicals labeled "cockroach". My sister is 26 weeks pregnant and isn't supposed to be around chemicals. The lock to the window was broke, and the sink leaked all over the floor. One night someone pounded on the door at 3 AM for at least 5 minutes. We were terrified, and checked out 2 days early! We were never offered any compensation for the lack of cleanliness or the insects in the room, it seemed like a regular occurrence for them. Beware, spend your money elsewhere! At least the front desk was nice!!!!

A disappointing experience at the Travel Lodge
My spouse and I are mobility impaired seniors and we booked a handicapped room through Brian at Expedia, the Travel Lodge gave us a ground floor room that opened to an outside walkway. We had mobility scooters delivered to the Travel Lodge and they came about 3-4 hours after we checked in, we used the scooters to go to dinner and when we came back we could not get our scooters up the 2 inch gap from the outside walkway into our room so we struggled to lift our scooters into the room so that they would not be left outside all nite. I talked to the front desk the next day because we could not lift our scooters in and out of the room but the front desk would not refund any of our prepaid funds...we had booked for 5 days. We left the Travel Lodge and moved over to another hotel to complete our stay in Las Vegas. The room we were in at the Travel Lodge had stained carpet, the garbage dumpster was overflowing outside and it was certainly not what I had experienced at other Travel Lodges, but beyond the appearance of the room and the outside, I found the lack of concern for our situation more disturbing. I will be contacting Wyndham as Travel Lodge is part of their brand as well as the Better Business Bureau in Las Vegas with my concerns. My suggestion is to find another place to stay I would not recommend this specific Travel Lodge.

I can not even describe to you how disgusted I was within 10 minutes of being at this motel Checked in, got the keys went to our nonsmoking room. Walked in. Overwhelming scent of smoke and bad decisions. Burn holes on linens, shredded blankets, carpet torn up, yellow walls, MOLD all over the bathroom. Not to mention. It was the 3rd floor and it had a large window that opened with no screen to a 3 story drop straight down. . My kid is 7 and is self aware enough to know better, but that's a safety hazard for anyone with kids (or drunk people ) Explained the situation to front desk, he was understanding and offered another room. It was on the 2nd floor adjacent to the office. Walked up the the room. Door was already open, screen ripped up from the corner of the window like someone broke in. Walked in. Just as bad if not worse than other door. And not to mention in both rooms the doors would not close and lock. So unsafe. Expedia clearly states no refunds so I didn't have high hopes but expedia rep and front desk agent tried to accommodate me as best as they could. I had purchased 2 nights. They refunded me 1 night. By this time it was 1130 on Friday night. Almost all rooms anywhere else were sold out. Ended up at polo towers which is directly behind Travelodge. Double the price, plus some. But worth it! 10/10 would recommend. Diamond Resorts always impress. Moral of the story. CHECK REVEIWS AND DO YOUR RESEARCH before you pick a hotel.

Don’t get me wrong, I wasn’t expecting much considering the location, name & price of this hotel.... BUT I found hairs on my pillows & sheets..... I mean come on man, clean sheets is the least you Could do... I ended up pulling back a dresser to plug my phone in and there was months of dust bunny’s piled up back there and although the shower “looked” clean, it refused to drain so while I was showering the water was up to my ankles... yuck. More importantly: As a single woman I did feel EXTREMELY unsafe. I travel solo quite often and although the hotel did have a security guard walking around occasionally, two different men on different occasions who also were staying there followed me back to my room and knocked repeatedly trying to get me to open the door. If you are from a smaller town like me-this place was just too sketch for me to handle. If you must stay on the strip, splurge for a nice resort with quality security & surveillance. If you have kids, or Are traveling solo, I would highly suggest staying somewhere where you can feel safe in your own room. Again, I wasn’t expecting much, there are quite a few things not mentioned that kinda comes with the lower end motels but i would like to compliment the staff. The woman who checked me in on a Friday night was extremely pleasant and helpful.

We were allowed to check in early. We were in room 112. It had a funky odor when we arrived. We brought in some air freshener, used dryer sheets to absorb odor, used odoban spray. It was terrible!! Then the bed closest to the wall had some terrible odor coming from down on the floor. My poor husband had to smell that crud both nights and I didn't realize that's where it was coming from. The photo's show nice updated rooms and lobby. They give you a sack breakfast, coffee runs out and they don't make any more, the beds were hard stinky because of that odor in the room. The only update in the room we could see was that they retiled the shower. It still had an old tub with rusty spots, water was marked cold/hot and was not connected properly, the handle to the shower spun around and the housing wasn't secured down. There were dead bugs in the corners of the bathroom with the trash can sitting in front of them to hide them. Overall, the staff were nice, but that place was absolutely disgusting. We got it since it was close to the strip. But don't waste your time or money. Pay more and go elsewhere!!!
