Average at best
Average and overpriced Waikiki resort be prepared for expensive $$$$ for everything food, parking $52, resort fee $45. Paddle boat $50 p/h! Old hotel in need of upgrade to charge $300+ a night. Good location but must be other better options. Food average and mostly fried cuisine.

Mixed bag - nice pools and beach otherwise average
We stayed in the Tapa tower 32nd floor. Our room was fairly dated and quite basic especially considering the cost of the room let alone the additional resort fee on top of that although I think to be fair Waikiki is pretty overpriced on the accommodation front all round. The air con was very temperamental and required the door to be shut a certain way to function. We had expected a resort view so to have a partial sea view and view of the lagoon was an unexpected bonus and very lovely. I was surprised the beds were little more than slightly bigger king singles as I expected 2 x queen beds. The room was an adjoining room and the noise insulation was non-existent. After 3 nights of very little sleep on account of noisy neighbours returning at 12:30am and talking loudly for some time, child crying at 4am, banging shoes or doing something else to create horrendous noise we finally called the front desk who advised security would pay a visit but we certainly didn’t hear them arrive and the noise continued. We checked the following day and they had checked out (thankfully) and I think we would have been offered a change of room but glad we didn’t have to as had already unpacked. The pools and the resort facilities were beautiful and extensive so it pays to make the most of these. Restaurants that we went to on site were fairly average and reasonably pricey but at least convenient. A bit of a mixed bag really but good for families on account of the pools, lagoon and beachfront.

Disappointing HHV
We celebrated our wedding at this hotel, resulting in about 12 additional rooms being booked by friends and family. Hilton was absolutely useless at recognising us or celebrating the occasion with us. It was dismal and disappointing. We never complained but every time we dealt with front desk we mentioned our wedding, and they did nothing. I never thought I’d stay anywhere else but to be honest - we are booking elsewhere next time.

Poor 2.0
Total disappointment
This hotel has changed nothing in the last four years...I’m not even sure they’ve recycled their linens. Everything feels way to dated. We came for our wedding which was held on the property. Literally had the worst room of all four stays we have had here. And this even though we asked for a good room having brought our family and such to stay here for the wedding.

Great pools for the kids
great stay with 4 and 1 year olds in tow BUT it was really expensive. And having to pay a daily resort charge for nothing in return was very frustrating, I was thinking that at least they would have buckets and spades for the beach for the little ones or umbrellas included in the resort fee. The pools were fantastic though and we made the most of those.

Great Stay
Very large hotel with lots to offer. Restaurants in the hotel are incredibly expensive and not good value for money. Great location. Beds are doubles and small. Would stay here again but would upgrade to Ali'i tower.

Meh...
Slightly disappointing. The tapa tower does really need some work in renovations as it looks a bit run down. Service was ok although the tipping is a bit much considering the cost being really high and then you had to tip for something you had already paid for.

Great 1 week break for a couple
Loved the village feel. Really liked the live music and many swimming options. Lovely relaxing holiday.
