Horrible Service
I didn’t stay due to an emergency, I canceled through this app & it glitched because my cancellation didn’t go through. So La Quinta charged me for both rooms anyway. And hotels.com did nothing to help me get a refund. And Ña Quinta was unwilling to help me get the refund. And both of the companies tried to tell me about policies. But la Quinta doesn’t follow them & only makes courtesy calls to non-payment customers. Yet they gladly took my money & didn’t bother to call when they didn’t see me show up. So everyone got their percentage pay & the customer lost all of their money due to an emergency.

Quick 1 Night Stay
This LaQuinta didn't live up to the brand name. The carpets were so dirty, in rooms and lobby. Showerheads didn't adjust, they were not made for the tall. Toilets were almost like sitting on the floor. Bathrooms could have been much cleaner. I am happy to report the sheets looked clean and the room didn't smell. AC worked. Several family members picked this location for a 1 night stay, we had a funeral in the area. I was shocked to see most EP hotels were $140 or $300. I would have expected better for $140. Plus b/c I booked these with hotels.com I was told I had to make a $100 CASH deposit for each room. All b/c I pre-paid for the rooms with a 3rd party. The deposit was held and given back at checkout after they checked your room. This policy made me wonder what kind of activities take place at that hotel that they have to put this in place. Breakfast was fine -- nothing special.

Never again.
The carpet looked like it hadn’t been cleaned since the 70s. The door did not want to close correctly and I had to try several times before it closed and locked. It looked like the door jam had been tampered with and it had never been properly repaired. The staff was friendly.

Bring cash.
The rooms are old and the shower was cleaned but it could have been better. However there is no warning that there will be a $100 cash deposit when you check in. They have a sign in the lobby and there is no receipt given to you only the word of the desk clerk telling you that you will get it in the morning. When you check out in the morning remember to ask for your money back because if you don’t ask they will not remind you and you might walk away. I had to remind the clerk that I wanted my cash deposit then she acted like it was going to take a while for someone to go check my room so my deposit was given back to me. After 5 min, i got my money back. It was unsual to require a cash deposit without warning the customer when booking.
