Pleasantly surprised despite the Google reviews 😅
Travelled with some friends who attended a conference nearby. Within walking distance to the main strip of South Bank. Reception kindly helped reconfigure beds last minute (thanks Chris!). Beds were comfy. Windows blocked out most of the noise. The access to the pool and sauna was really nice (despite the weather). Overall really enjoyed the place.

Never staying here again
We arrived at 3.30pm for a 2.00pm check in and our room wasn’t ready, the same for the lady checking in next to us. Once we did get into our room we cleaned it again as it was still dirty. Our booking had free parking and a free bottle of wine as part of the deal we booked. On arrival the receptionist was going to charge us $25 per night for parking and during our stay we never received the bottle of wine. It was the most disappointing stay I’ve had in Brisbane, never staying here again.

Although we experienced a fire alarm in the building on the first night, the property was great and is within walking distance to many things. The apartment we had was really nice with the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. It was clean and we felt safe. We did hear a lot of noise outside at times but it was a great stay and I would recommend it.

The room was very clean except the rug was visibly grotty. The room listed queen bed but it was 2 singles pushed together which made it uncomfortable. No fitted sheet, my partner constantly had to tuck it back in during the night. No donna cover (just had a sheet on either side of doona) did not like that. The dryer door was broken so could not dry the towels. We were given only 2 towels total for use of showering and using pool and spa and 1 roll of toilet paper for the 4 days we were there although they were happy to provide more when requested. It was raining and windy for 2 of the nights we stayed and a tree branch out side kept banging and scratching the window which made it hard to sleep on those nights. Parking is $25 a day and not guareenteed which I had not previously added into the costs of staying here. The pool is beautiful and heated and sauna great bonus.
