Excellent - look forward to staying here again
Excellent service from the moment we arrived laden with bags. Room was lovely as was bathroom. Bed was vast! Very comfortable. Drinks in the bar were very good and we had a really lovely meal in the restaurant. Would definitely choose to stay here again.

Opulence & Elegance
The staff treated me like a royalty! They made me feel like I’m home. Junior at the front desk was amazing about my accommodation. The concierge whom I call “Mr. B” was gracious enough to get out of his way so I can have an afternoon tea. It was my first & thanks to Mr. B! He is always helpful in giving me directions whenever I need to go somewhere. Aaron was helpful & pleasant as well. Alessandro the bartender was a delight. Zoe & Catherine made sure I was having a good time. They are all amazing! And the breakfast crew at the English Grill was a delight. It’s opulence & elegance at its finest! I will book my stay at The Rubens again for sure! Thank you to everybody! You are the best & you are second to none.

Good and bad
Check in was poor, room was single glazing over the trash dumpsters in a parking lot. Had to pay 50 GBP per night more for a king- beautiful but the room so small you could hardly move through it. Wait was awful in the bar. Tea was very nice and the porters were great-friendly and helpful. Very well located.

Highly recommend
Service was exceptional. Everyone was friendly and willing to help. My daughter has a severe food allergy and they took extreme care in making her feel comfortable eating in their restaurants. The room was clean but a bit cold. The location was great for walking to all the major tourist spots. There is a grocery store around the corner which was convenient for picking up snacks.

Relaxing, quality hotel that is central.
Comfortable, welcoming hotel - great staff from Michael on the door to the reception staff - nothing was ever too much trouble & they went out of their way to make your stay the best. Room was comfortable, clean & warm and had everything we needed- the view over the palace mews was great. We will return.

Wonderful Staff
We have stayed here many times and the location, service, accommodation and food are all excellent. The staff always provide excellent service and couldn't be more friendly or helpful. In the heart of London next to the palace you can walk through the park and have easy access to the city (also tube station just around the corner). It is away from the hustle and bustle of the busy tourist spots and is in a quieter location next to the palace. Its nice to start and finish your day walking past the palace. This time we ate in the restaurant and felt truly pampered by the staff they were so attentive and helpful, the food was extremely good and whilst it was an expensive meal for us it was a 5 star meal & service and a special treat for us as it was part of a mini break to London (theatre trip). The doorman was lovely, friendly and a good laugh and very smart in his redcoat. Thank you to all the staff - its the people here that make the difference - your staff are invaulable - without them its just another hotel - good service deserves recognition and you get 5 stars from us.

Will definitely be staying again
This was by far one of the best hotel stays I have ever had.. the staff was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Adriano at the English grill was spectacular. The concierge gave great advice for local tours. The front desk staff gave advice on local food after learning it was my first time in London. The doormen were quick to help with bags or my jacket or getting me a cab and informed me how to tell if a cab was available! All in all just a great experience!! Will stay there again
