A Great place for solo, family with kids, couples
This was my second time to stay at this hotel in Jakarta. The location of this hotel is excellent if you are taking Gambir station. It is about 10 minutes and it is not expensive to take a Bluebird taxi (around Rp40,000) from and to this hotel. One of the biggest malls in Jakarta, Plaza Indonesia and Grand Indonesia is about 5-7 min by car. You will like this hotel if you enjoy old decor and style. There are many cheap thin-wall hotels in Jakarta. You will NOT enjoy the loud noise of the Islam prayer call (4 a.m.). You will not have a noise problem at this hotel and have a restful night.

So-so stay. No peaceful sleep though
Big hotel but sound proofing is poor as I can eat people on the hallway and the next door rooms. I could also hear kids in the swimming pool as our room was facing the pool. People were also smoking in their rooms and it could be smelled in our room. Breakfast was not really worth it.

What was my usual go to hotel whenever im in jakarta is a total disappointment this time around. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Its in need of a total makeover. Dated in every sense. Service is lacklustre. Breakfast is better off ordered via grabfood every morning.
