Cheap Motel. I have stayed in better Hostels.
The room was one star at best. It was dirty and smelled. I complained about the odor and someone gave me a squeeze bottle of some type of deodorizer for me to spray myself on the carpet. A employee just walked into my room without knocking. The towels and sheets were of the poorest quality, i slept in all my clothes as i just felt the room was so old and dirty. You have to have someone take your luggage to your room if you have to take an elevator as they were two sets stairs to go up (it was not handicap accessible) so therefore I had to tip to take my luggage to the room when I shouldn’t of had to. The TV didn’t work the entire time and they knew it was broken because there was tape on the back of it holding the broken wire into the TV. No one did anything about it. When I checked out the night front desk agent basically picked a argument with me as I had to wait for an item that was put in storage (this was free but i was told i had to tip the employee to get it) per their suggestion while my car to the airport was waiting outside. I asked for a manager to call me and no one did. This is a cheap motel.

Parking is terrible and a hotel staff claiming to be a manager had no business in managing a hotel because of his terrible terrible attitude towards guests. The parking system is so ... ... antiquated - everytime you go out, you have to stop at the front office to obtain "validation". And if you happen to go out mutiple times, the validation is no good because the gate will not go up. Guess the system only allows a 1 or 2 validations per day. We found this out and then had to go back to front desk again. The clerk told us to push the button at the gate and he would let us out. We followed the instruction but the gate did not go up. Finally a staff showed up and claimed he was the manager. No help was offered. Instead he started accusation and said we must have done something wrong. We tried to explain the whole sequence of events, he interrupted us and refused to listen. He said we should have gone to the back gate, which we never were aware of and the front desk clerk failed to explain. The whole time the so called manager was shouting and accusing. Certainly not a relaxing vacation we invisioned. Never Never Never again!!!

    This hotel is horrible.
This hotel is horrible. They advertise faulty, nickel and dime you at every turn, and provide disgusting rooms. Overall a horrible value for your hard earned dollar. I booked a room on hotels.com. Specifically searching for an indoor pool. Search them now if you wish. They will come up as having an indoor pool. We get there and its and outdoor pool that is closed. When questioned about this they told us very plainly it is not their job to tell us what kind of pool they have. Ok. To cancel reservation at this point is full room rate. Great now I am captive. So then to park is an additional 30 dollars. No problems with parking mentioned when booking. It would have been cheaper to park at either the Aquarium or the Science Museum for 24 hours. Think about that cheaper, to park at two of the largest attractions in Boston than my hotel!!!!! So I booked to two adults and three children. You guessed it. 15 dollars for a rollout bed. They knew that 5 people would be staying in the room but wait for you to get there to charge for the bed. NO warning at all. The hotel does not offer so much as a free cup of coffee!!!! When you take these additional charges into account, I could have booked a room on the water, with an indoor pool, and free parking. ( I checked) The room, very basic with the wall behind the toilet bucking from water damage. Disgusting. I cannot tell you strongly enough to never stay at this hotel.

    Great location, terrible hotel
Great location for Back Bay and Fenway Park, but the hotel was very basic and really needs updating / renovation. It was like a throw back to the 70's staying here. The room was a good size, and bed was comfortable - but they were the only plus points. There was no fridge in the room, the air-con was the loudest I have ever heard, and the bathroom/toilet was very cramped. My wife is short (5' 2") and even she had to duck to get her hair wet in the shower. The decor is dated and thankfully I had my flip flops with me to avoid stepping on the carpet that looked like it was laid when the hotel was originally built. This was the worst value for money that I have had with a hotel booking in a long time. Credit must go to the friendly staff though, and to the photographer who took the photos for the pictures in the hotels ad. Would definitely not recommended this hotel to friends/family. Worth paying the extra few bucks and staying at the Hilton or Marriott along the road.

    Nice location but the staff.......
Very nice location, close to the subway, Patrick at the front desk was very nice on the day we arrived, you got what you paid for, fair enough, overall no complaint until the night before we check-out..... We had 3 people with 2 double beds in our room, after a long day, we found out the shower was not working late at night, we called the front desk and somebody come up, take a look and left, couple minutes later, we received a call from the front desk - Stephen, he told us nobody will be available to fix that, he can change another room for us, but it would be only 1 double bed and a rollaway bed, I told him we need a room with 2 beds, and of course, with our luck, no rooms with 2 beds available, then I asked him to give us 2 rooms instead, and he said no, only 1 room with 1 bed left, then I keep telling him we are 3 people, and he said he has no authority to give 2 rooms... well, so it was no rooms available or he has no authority to give us 2 rooms? big question mark... I told him basically we have no choice, he said yes, we do have choice - we can stay in our room without shower or change the room....... when I request to speak to the manager, he said the manage will be there next morning, we can complain to the manager Finally we switched to a bigger room with 1 double bed & a sofa bed, the sofa bed was small and not comfortable at all, we left earlier next day in order to avoid the traffic and of course the manage was not there yet
