    Good stay at Shinagawa Prince
We had corner room with excellant view . I stayed here couple of times. Regular room is small. Dont recommend staying at East wing. Still room need facelift and night wear given by hotel was quite old, too. Over all, I always felt like staying at one of those bisiness hotel rather known hotel chain. The rooms were clean and all the essentials were there. Hotel stuffs were all well trained. Free wifi and just few minutes walk to Shinagawa station is plus.

Good but expected better (from a multiple-visitor)
Location and staff service are excellent. Hotel staff speak good English. Check-in and check-out at kiosks are quick and fuss-free especially with staff stationed there to help. Baggage storage service is very efficient. Room itself is clean but furniture like table and chairs are old and wobbly. Room slippers used to be of very good quality but are now just the flimsy-material/uncomfortable ones.

    A good, well situated hotel
The hotel is well situated, close to Shinagawa station and is well equipped. Be warned that rooms are not available before 15:00 if you arrive early. The heating air/con is heat only on the winter & cool only in the summer which can be a problem during mild weather - fortunately it wasn't too much of a problem during my stay. The rooms in the East Tower are very small. Elsewhere they are fine.

    We will be back
Perfect location and excellent views make this hotel our favourite Tokyo stay. Cant beat the convenience and although some of the rooms are a little tired, always clean and so close to major train station, many restaurants, shopping and even a fantastic aquarium! thoroughly recommend to couples, families, business travellers. We cant wait to come back again!

I wasn't informed there will be additional tourist tax should the cost for hotel rooms did not reach minimum requirements.

    Poor value for money
Paid some 23000 yen a night for a standard non-smoking room incl. breakfast. It was not worth it. The room is very spacious but not novel. The breakfast on the ground floor is pretty good but most places inside the building were unpleasantly overcrowded. The reason I chose this hotel, however, was due to the nice-looking swimming pool. But I when I went there I was charged extra on top of the already very high accomodation fee. Overall not a terrible experience but some of the worst value for money from any hotel I have ever stayed at in Japan.
