    Great location

    The location was fantastic and our initial welcome was great and they couldn't do enough but as many places I think they must be struggling for staff a s the reception never answered the phone and the wait to speak to anyone was usually a long one. The room service and snacks were non existant but again probably due to covid. Our room was misised off the cleaning but after asking this was done. We spa seemed like it wasn't opne although I know the pool was the relaxation areas were shut. Would I stay again probably yes in the hope that things had changed as it has so much that could be great but just needed a little bit of TLC.

    Great lobby, but paying for location not class

    Beautiful lobby, professional friendly staff. But The view out of the windows was no existent due to the filth on the windows. The room was cosy, but floor boards were creaking so was nervous of annoying guests below us, which made me a little uncomfortable. The breakfast is incredibly expensive, so we just went to Tesco's to get breakfast instead. The lobby would have also seen us sneaking in McDonald's. The room wasn't particularly special for the price, the price clearly reflects the location. I thought I needed to book a hotel close to the comedy club, but in retrospect, I should have booked further away and paid for a cab to get more for the money.

    Good location

    The hotel is in a great location but you get the impression they are a bit short staffed. It has a lot of character and my room was very big. TV didn’t work throughout my trip and my shower was broken but quickly fixed.

    Location, location, location.

    The best thing about the Dilly is their amazing staff. Coming out of the pandemic the hospitality industry has been impacted with a lack of available staff. The Dilly is no exception to this. What they do have though is a wonderfully dedicated staff who work so hard to make your stay the best that it can be. The hotel reception and lobby area are lovely. Sadly we didn't get into the terrace bar as we didn't make a reservation (my fault) but we did use the lovely pool (which we booked in advance). The rooms are dated but comfortable and clean. We had an issue with the temperature but one of the wonderful staff sorted this for us. The lovely lady working there (Helana or Elana) was so nice to my daughter which made her stay so pleasant. Thank you. The hotel is located in the heart of Piccadilly which makes it the perfect location for a central London stay. Highly recommended based on the staff and location.

    Beautiful hotel and fantastic location. It was a shame the breakfast was a buffet style for this high end hotel. This meant not everything was hot and there was only scrambled egg as an option for eggs. The towels in the room were not the best quality and the mini fridge was empty. You would have expected at least water in here. It’s a shame these factors dragged the quality of hotel down for us.
