Beautiful room, welcoming home
I had a lovely welcome from Penny and stayed in a beautiful room in a house just off the Quay in Appledore. Breakfast was plentiful and varied and the bedroom was very comfortable and clean, with thoughtful touches for comfort, a cd player, books, homemade soap. I would not hesitate to recommend this accommodation if you find yourself in the area.

Great find! Torridge House is located right in the heart of Appledore and a short walk (1 mins) to the Quayside. It was a great location to have a base during our visit and we were looked after by Penny with a lovely breakfast each morning. A decent sized room and facilities meant that we could use Torridge House as a base for our trip and would definitely recommend staying here if you want to be in the heart of the town. Thanks for looking after us! Next time we just need to make sure the sun comes out a little more!
