    Disappointed

Hotel old and run down. Questionable neighborhood and people. Beds very uncomfortable, ants crawling on our beds. Looked great on pictures online but reality was very different. Will never stay there again.

    Don't stay here- Bad experience

My stay was terrible. Their card keys and room doors do not work. My friend and I had gone to explore Austin and when we came back to our room, our card key wasn't working, so we had to go to the front desk to ask what was going on, the employee fixed it. However, it happened again later in the night. My friend and I had gone to sixth street to have some drinks and we were exhausted when we got back to Days Inn. We tried to open our door and the card key didn't work. There we go walking to the front desk AGAIN and the employee "fixed" it again, so we went to try and open our room and it wasn't working. So, we had to walk to the front desk again. However, this time the door was locked and there was a phone number saying to call if we needed anything. I called the # and nobody answered. Thankfully that same employee that had helped us a couple of minutes before showed up. The employee didn't know what else to do, so she gave us another room to stay at. However, ALL of our belongings were in the other room. I had to sleep with my contacts on, couldn't change clothes, didn't have my toothbrush, had NOTHING since it was in the other room. We had no choice, but to stay in the room provided. We didn't even receive an apology the next day. So please, do not stay here because you could run the risk of your room's door staying locked. Also, we stayed there for two nights and towels weren't replaced for us. There's so much more I could write that happened, but I've ran out of characters.

I liked everything about it. I liked the location of my room, which was close to the management office so it was easy to find and the room itself was very nice.

    Awful

Worst hotel experience ever. Nearly had to call the police. Sounds like an 18 wheeler driving on the other side of wall all night long.

    horrible place

Hotel room smelled like smoke and marijuana. There was ashes on the phone, the sheets were dirty. We asked for a different room because my husband is allergic to smoke and they stated they had no other rooms. We left because my husband was already getting congested and a headache. They refused to give us a refund. Will never, ever, stay or recommend this place to anyone.

Limited options in this area with access to hospitals. Did not offer AARP discounts but I did get reward points, and pricing was more than my initial search a fe w days earlier. I arrived late and was hoping to get a drink and snacks, but there was nothing available. A vending machine would have been welcome.

Fine overnight, not the best for more than that

It's a 2-star motel, under a freeway. It's not quite in walking distance of the downtown area, but it's almost there. Quick enough drive to most sites if you have a car. If you don't have a car, you should stay in a hotel downtown near the sites.
