It would appear this hotel was somewhat recently renovated, but I think it was a bit of a lipstick on a pig job. There’s straps holding tile up on the unlit fireplace, chipped trim on elevator walls, and no pool. We booked this hotel wanting to stay somewhere with a pool but unfortunately the pool was out of service. When I checked the listing it says one of the pools is out of order, which would indicate another pool/hot tub which isn’t the case. If it’s out of order remove the pool from the amenities listing and photos, don’t put it in fine print at the very bottom where it will be missed. The bar and restaurant were closed due to covid, but there’s a very basic continental breakfast which wasn’t much use for me with dietary restrictions. There was security guard positioned by the elevators at all time, not sure what that was about. The ice machines on 5 & 6 didn’t work and I had to go to the main floor. Lots of free parking, but be cautious in the loading area as the pavers are loose and uneven. One thing I had a really hard time with was the scent of the lobby, which smells like a tanning salon. I don’t know why or what that was but it’s not good. Our room was incredibly dry but it was very clean so we were pleased with that. The bed was comfortable, shower had good water pressure, room came with a mini fridge, microwave and Kuerig. The staff we did interact with were pleasant. It served it’s purpose, but I won’t be in a rush to stay here again.
