Met all my expectations & more
I loved staying there as a solo. Felt comfortable coming down to the lobby & reading the paper. Staff were the most friendly & helpful I’ve met in a long while outside of a B&B. The special treats- cookies & crisps were a delightful extra. My bed was comfortable. Liked the size, decor and lots of room plugs. Made sure I enjoyed the large bathtub every night. Really liked the bathrobe & slippers, something I can’t pack from home takes up too much room. Overall the artsyness of the hotel from book desks, incredible chandeliers, wall art work, bar/ restaurant colors & comfort, I can’t wait to stay here again. Yes location for tube, buses, museums, restaurants, shopping or just taking a scenic walk is the best place to be...... Did I mention the cool grassy flower letter board elevator?

Great location, wonderful and quirky
Lots of fun and quirky. Reminiscent of 25h Hotel chain, which we love. Staff were fab. 5 minutes from South Kensignton tube. All round great experience. We stayed in one of the penthouses and had loads of room.

Great location
We stayed in the Squint penthouse for a birthday stay, we were attending a concert at the Albert hall so it was a convenient short walk. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We both slept well and enjoyed our stay but the room was a little disappointing if i’m honest, especially given the price. Pros; Good amount of floor space Large comfy bed Comfy bed linen Large balcony you can eat/drink on Near to lots of tourist spots and eateries like museums and Royal Albert hall Friendly helpful staff Coffee machine Robes and slippers Quirky lobby decor Cons; The room decor has become a little tatty. The fabric covering the furniture has split, stained and missing door knobs (I reattached two) And just isn’t a great look. I’d remove the fabric covering the units and leave them grey. Or consider redoing the room scheme altogether as it could be fantastic. Fabric covered chandeliers were missing bits and just looked a bit sad and had stains on. Dirty voile curtains, possibly sprayed with cleaner but left splatterings. Fabric rose petals put on our bed looked pretty but smelt like fish sauce...! They were binned. Please don’t use these as they’ve been contaminated with something hideous. Overall the hotel is in a great location and is quirky but the room decor just doesn’t work. It’s trying but the quality lets it down. Staff were great. We didn’t eat here so can’t comment on food.
