    Great hotel...beds not so much

    I enjoyed my stay. Very clean and extremely nice and professional staff. The only bad part was the bed. IT WAS AWFULLY UNCOMFORTABLE. My roommate felt the same way about her bed. Those beds need to be replaced immediately.

    Solid Choice for San Francisco Stay

    This was a super short stay (1 night) but the hotel staff was very friendly, accommodating and helpful. They extended me a courtesy late checkout of 3:00 PM so that I could work from the room most of the day without worry. I accidentally left my wallet at the pantry while buying dinner and the team was incredibly kind and helpful getting it back to me. The View Lounge is fantastic. The panoramic view and cocktails were fabulous. The only reason I can’t give it a full 5 stars is because my room smelled of cigarette smoke & had a washcloth tied around the smoke detector from the previous guest. So housekeeping could definitely use to be a bit more thorough. That said I wouldn’t worry too much about it, because I am positive if I had reported it when I got in that they would have let me switch rooms. I was just too tired to bother.

    Housekeeping was amazing and very attenuative. I called twice and they sent someone right up. They were all so friendly in the halls when I walked by. Wonderful staff!

    Ridiculous that arriving at 2:45pm I was told I would have to pay for early checkin. Also when arriving late later, as I couldn’t checkin when I arrived, was first told I couldn’t collect my baggage I had left there, until the following morning. Eventually someone from security said it wasn’t a problem at all. But front desk had said they wouldn’t help. Worst experience at the Marriott.
