There was no buffet as advertised online.. the heater in our room didnt work.. the tub didnt hold water and there was no hot water in the bathroom sink.. for the price paid for two nights we were not pleased with what was provided

NO WATER PARK! No compensation. Waste of money.
The entire reason I booked this trip with my kids was because of the water park. We checked into the hotel. Water park closed!! They said mechanical issues and they expected it to be open the next day. Next day- water park closed!! So that was our stay. I asked for some sort of refund. Denied!! Never, ever again. Do not book this place.

Disappointing experience
I was with my family and friends for a one night stay. We were given rooms at the back of the hotel which was a long walk from the front. I went to my car around 7 am and saw two people smoking weed in the parking lot. There was not any instructions on how to use the room phone to access the front desk. The pool was not in service. I was told when I made the reservation that we can use the water park until around 9 pm but when we arrived around 5 pm, we were told that it closes at 7 pm. Also, one of the staff recommended a Mexican restaurant on the property which she promoted as excellent but it was overpriced and not great at all. The hotel seems to be falling into disrepair. I will not stay here again.

Serious Updates Needed
This is my second time to Split Rock Resort. During my first trip they were doing some updates. Now upon my return it doesn't seem like much has changed. Me and my family was in the lodge location of the resort and during a rain storm there was some rain running down the walls in our room and the walls in the hallways. The furniture is outdated and the place overall needs a complete update. Don't plan on coming back unless changes are made
