Overall a good stay
We were in Marion for 2 nights for a DCI competition. The hotel was very clean, staff was friendly. My only complaint would be the breakfast. My husband overheard one of the staff tell a trainee to microwave the sausage and eggs to cook them.

I enjoyed the staff at the property, they were very helpful and worked well with me when I needed it. My room had some quirks, the door handle only worked when pulled up, the fridge was so cold it exploded canned cokes left in it, and the switch closest to the door "didn't work" when I first arrived because the lamp was plugged into the wrong plug, but none of this bothered me to the point of serious complaint and didn't negatively affect my rating. The facilities are in good shape, and the room was very nice and clean, but the pool area was somewhat dingy when I attended, and it seems like it only gets picked up about once per day so there was some clutter from previous rude guests. The breakfast needs some work, the area is cramped if multiple people are trying to use it and the coffee was not good and did not have provided creamer (both the bold and regular types). I also did not like the provided Wi-Fi access, as it would routinely disconnect me over the day and make me "revalidate" by going into my settings and reloading the authorization window in my web browser which would've been more painful if I was not tech savvy as I assume most people are not. Overall, my stay was good with minor inconveniences.
