Rude Receptionist (LARISSA)
I am writing to share my 6 nights experience staying in Yotel Amsterdam Noord. The bed & shower is comfortable with creative lightings in the room. All is perfect in the room except missing a basic hot water maker facility(water boiler) which all 4 star hotel would have provided. Everyone in the hotel including the receptions & the hotel cleaners are all well manner & friendly. The only person I have met which made me feel discriminate that me & my husband may never enter this hotel again is LARISSA. I was unfortunate to have met her to ruin my entire stay in this hotel. One day when we are on the way out to the city & as usual, we asked to borrow an umbrella in case of rain. I have borrow with no issue by another reception the day before. So happen this day Larissa was there when i asked to borrow, she answer very rudely as below, "We dont borrow umbrella, you can get it for Euro20 if u need it" without looking at me when she speak. I asked in a surprise that why is that we are allow to borrow hotel umbrella yesterday but not today? She did not answer my question and just repeat saying that "you need to buy it" I don't mind to buy it if Yotel have a proper selling counter of umbrellas.i seen no new umbrellas for sales and i have been to many hotels all around the world, most of them has umbrellas stand by to lend to customer unless all umbrellas has been taken by others customer. I am so disappointed of yotel to place such impolite & unprofessional receptionist

Nice hotel
Hotel was lovely nice and clean however as a brand new hotel the beds are very hard and uncomfortable. Hotel has nothing in surrounding area it is a 13 minute walk from hotel to local ferry from there it will take you to central Amsterdam.
