8/10 Very good

We stayed in a double room (2 double beds) Beds were small and uncomfortable, felt like we were rolling off all night. Also a shame to not have any power points beside the beds. Ordered room service to have the staff not remember our room number there was a long delay (I followed up after 1.5hr) Other than that, the location was good, parking was good, pricing was reasonable and the reception staff during check in were great!

Room was cleaned well, it was a bit older, starting to look tired in common areas. A little understaffed but I think that is everywhere at the moment. We got drinks vouchers but the bar wasn’t open so that was funny. Great location right in town.

Parking not as good as it has been for 30+ years.
A good stay despite on check-in we were bluntly told "We do not do Valet Parking", despite that being a service for over 30 years . . ., no apology, simply put, "that is how it is". When we commented that, it was a good service which had been discontinued, the Front of House Manager, said we could leave our car where it had been parked - that was after the Check-in Girl was adamant we had to move the car ourselves.
