Smells bad! But overall acceptable for price.
I can’t really be upset since this was one of the cheapest rates I could find that wasn’t a hostel or a room in someone’s home! So all in all, it was what I expected. But the major problem I had was that it smelled! The lobby always smelled like greasy pungent food, I guess coming from the restaurant kitchen. And the room we stayed in had a really musty odor that wasn’t pleasant. The hotel is old and outdated. I’m talking stains and scratches on the walls, chips on the furniture, patches and stains on the carpet, old tile grout. However, I felt that it was clean and these problems were really cosmetic damage. The linens and towels were fresh and clean and white. The pillows were clean, the bathroom and room itself were spacious. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Parking was also very easy and there’s a Jamba Juice, Starbucks, and Denny’s all within walking distance. So overall, the condition is tolerable given the price. If you are most concerned with cost and don’t mind old and outdated then I would recommend, especially if you don’t have a strong sense of smell. I would have been much more satisfied if the hotel didn’t smell so bad.

Poor 2.0
horrible
First of all my mother doesn’t have a cell phone and I was relying on the room phone to get a hold of her. I called the front desk over and over again to get connected to her room no answer. I had to go to the hotel to make contact with her. Staff was super rude about this matter. Even after telling them my situation. Secondly my mother found ants crawling out of her sink the second day she was there. She told the front desk, they moved her over from room 403 to 402. And again I tried to phone room 402 trying to make contact, and the front desk asked “what the purpose of my call was”... I replied to get a hold of my mother. She replied there’s no one in that room. Knowing my mother was in there I had to drive to the hotel to contact her. Because she wouldn’t put me threw. Later that day she noticed ants again in her room and complained so they sent her to 401 for her last nights stay. Where as she was packing up found ants all over her clothes. I am completely disappointed and upset about the service and attitude from employees. I would appreciate some feedback from a representative from this location thank you.

Bring your gas mask!
When arrived at hotel entering my room smelled like insecticide, ac units plastic vent was broken and made lots of noice the room was humid and hot security latch on door wa broken like if it had bees forced and broke the parking lot was small unless you wanted to park behind the hotel were the thugs hang out, even tho they had underground secure parking it was reserved for preferred “customers”. I asked to be moved to a different room or get a refund I was promised a new room but when we got back to the hotel I was told they had cleaned the room and it didn’t smelled like insecticide after I demanded what I was promised by the manager the night employee gave us a “suite” with 2 king size beds separate living room and dinnet ac in room was broken as well but better room

I stayed at Ramada Los Angeles/Wilshire Center located at 3900 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90010 (213-736-5222). I checked in on Friday, 20 April 2018, and promptly checked out on Sunday, 22 April 2018. During check-in a clerk asked for my credit card for incidentals, as usual. The check-out process was very quick; however, I was not offered a paper bill or an email confirming that I have checked out and am not responsible for any additional charges. I believe Hanna was at the front desk during my check-out process. When I came home on Monday after work, to my great surprise I noticed a charge from the hotel for $167. I immediately called them as tried to find out why I was charged. I initially spoke to Jasmin, who could not provide a coherent answer to any of my questions. After I asked to talk to her supervisor, I talked to a male employee who introduced himself as Rubens K. He explained that I was charged for an extra night I stayed at the hotel. When I said that it was not correct, he changed his story and said someone else stayed in the room and he was waiting for me to come back and pick him up. I asked Rubens if they checked any form of identification of the occupant or if he identified me by my name. None of my questions were answered satisfactorily and the supervisor could not provide any details. During all this time Rubens was distracted talking to someone in Korean. It was clear by that time that his story is a complete lie and this is just a scam. Stay away!

Exceptional 10.0
Fantastic location and great to have on site parking included. Have stayed here on two occasions - rooms are very spacious and pleasingly furnished (albeit I can see that some guests may feel they are slightly dated). Clean enough and in a great location convenient for Hollywood, Downtown and even west to Santa Monica or down to LAX. Whilst not in the ‘middle’ of any area per-se, it is the perfect location for a base to travel around the Los Angeles area - central enough to be close enough to wherever you want to go - 10 minutes from Hollywood, 15 minutes from Downtown and 20 minutes from Santa Monica down the freeway.
