Greenbrier Hotel, Vancouver, Canada
This is an old hotel so there is no elevator. Ask for a room on the ground or first floor or you may end up carrying your luggage up 4 floors. The electricity in our room tripped a couple of times when the hairdryer was in use, again because this is an old property. Heating is centrally controlled so we were told to open our windows when the room got too hot, however the windows open out onto the street so security is a worry if your room is on the lower floors. Otherwise, the hotel is clean and the rooms are spacious.

Won’t stay again
I’ve stayed here before, but had a bigger suite. My room was facing the busiest atrear, which made it hard to sleep whem the noice, partying, etc goes on all night. My room had a kitchenette, which was important as I am road racing and need my training food. Sadly the fridge was broken, so they gave me a cooler to put my perisables in. Also, no pots or pans to cook with or boil water. After this trip, I wouldnt bool with them again.

Large space, clean and comfortable, nice kitchenette, friendly staff. Great location near waterfront, park, restaurants and stores.

Older hotel and could use updating but who says that just because it’s old, it’s not worth anything? Staff was very friendly and helpful. Anything I needed, all I had to do was ask. Hotel was clean, comfortable and more of an apartment than a room.

Girls night out
The hotel is in a great location...close to shopping and restaurants. The staff is friendly and informative about the area. The room was clean and the bed was super comfortable. Only problem was the bathroom receptacle did not work. We let the front staff know before we left and she was apologetic and said she would have that looked at. We would definitely stay again.
