    Disappointing plux
We booked an Executive room to access the lounge for my partners birthday. We entered our room and had scaffolding outside our window - that is all we could see. The lounge was terrible - the carpet and chairs terribly stained and old. The food was inedible and the wine selection very poor. We were woken before 8am on the weekend by hammering and builders at work. We were given no warning.

Disappointed in crappy club lounge food and hotel
We staying in a Club Lounge room, which gave us access to the club lounge for canapes and drinks etc in the evening. We paid $289. VERY disappointment from the start. We called down to reception several times and no one picked up. They could just pick up the phone, acknowledge us and tell us to wait. Club lounge was very disappointing. The food was cold / luke warm and unapetizing. The selection was cheap and crappy - a vegetable mix inside pastry shells, along with crackers with a dollop of pesto sauce and half a cherry tomato on top. There was a hot selection of food, including prawn cones which were scant on any prawn meat and just deep fried junk food. We complained on exiting the hotel and they took zero responsibility. They didn't even offer a small discount or something to ease the disappointment. Avoid paying for the club lounge. Its not worth it. There are so many eateries in the area.
