Blood, bodily fluids, feces and bugs. Run away!
Moved 3 times within the first hour of check in. First room the comforters had blood stains on them and a hair gel like stain on the sheet folded over the comforter. (Please let it have been hair gel!) I took pictures! Second room wasn't clean, had feces residue smeared the bowl and floating in the toilet and no toiletries. But at least no blood and "hair gel" in the bed. Third room and final room had tiny bugs in the bathroom that found their way into my bed on the last night. My neighbor had a million baby spiders in her coffee maker that spilled over when she tried to make coffee. Just please, please, run away from this hotel!! If the bodily fluids on bedding isn't enough. At breakfast your harassed by "hilton ambassadors" trying to sell you prepaid rooms and time shares in exchange for points and a shutterfly prints. You just need to pay a few hundred dollars and sit through a 2 hour class on how to vacation! My husband actually bought one package, which he shall attend alone because he's crazy for buying such a stupid thing. I don't want or need to be bothered with a high pressure sales class. Needless to say you could not pay me enough to visit this hotel again. The staff was nice and they did take the parking and resort fees off my bill. One manager sent a cheese tray to my room as well. The experience still ruined my vacation. I traveled far to come to Orlando and I was so tired. No one should have had to ensure this.

    Poor 2.0
This has to be one of the worst hotels I ha e stayed in. I booked a seven night vacation for my family and was ready to leave after night one. The room it self looked clean. My mom woke up with big red spots on her back and legs. We thought it was just scratches- big mistake. It was bed bugs. I found them crawling on the night stand. Took one down to the manager and her moved us to another room. After moving 12 people to two other rooms, we went out for the day. Came back late to the hotel, checked for bugs but instead found toe nail clipping under the sheets of the bed. And the room had looked like it had a months worth of dust around d all the furniture. The sofa bed looked like it had an old sheet on it. So I called front desk and they offered to come clean it at midnight! I declined, and instead called Travelocity to see about changing hotels. Was on hold and transferred and given the run around for about 3 hrs. Was promised to get a refund for remaining nights so that I can rebook another hotel. That did not happen. Went to sleep and talked to the property manager and was told once again that he would move us. Moved a fourth time only to find tiny spiders in my room all over the coffee maker and bar area. Spoke to Travelocity again only to be again put on hold and given the run around again! Upon check out we were charged for seven night of self parking for both rooms when we didn’t even have a car. Worst experience I have ever had with embassy suites.

    Poor 2.0
Didn't clean sheets, not worth it & overcharged us
For a 4 star hotel, we expected way more from this rating. We asked to switch rooms bc the toilet didn't work. Called the front desk and the man quickly responded with, "No, we have not extra rooms, I'm sending someone to fix it."and quickly dismissed my frustration. A plumber came up and said there was nothing wrong with it. He referred to it as a lazy toilet and said it's normal for water to rise to the top and then flush down. We were traveling with 2 kids and if we were only staying one night I would have let it go, but we were there for several nights. I called the front desk again and they were kind enough to switch us to another room.... however, the following day, they didn't switch out our sheets after cleaning the room and taking the tip we left for them on the bedside table. I know because my kids had spilled chocolate milk on the sheets and the stain was there, not just that night but EVERY SINGLE NIGHT we were there even after my husband explicitly called the front desk to request the sheets to be changed. What made it worse was that we had to call down to get white sheets and WE CHANGED THE SHEETS OURSELVES EVERY NIGHT. Again, this is a four star hotel. Then we got charged for parking every night when we hadn't checked in a car. When we checked out, no one picked up at the front desk.

    Fair 4.0
Super shady and lots of hidden fees
The poolside room you find on here are the subpar rooms. The room had an odor or cat urine. The shower curtains were moldy and you could tell they were the units that were not given attention as they are not visible from the main hotel building. I called two days in advance to ask if I would be ok to change my dates because I would be checking in late; the staff did not ask for any of my information and told me that they are always willing to accommodate their guests and to have a safe trip. Upon arrival I was told they had cancelled my reservation but could rebook directly through them for an extra $1400 without guarantee that when the manager came in I would be refunded my original cost. I explained I had been awake for 46 hours straight and needed a resolution quickly (5am), I was given any other offers and was told to come back between 8&9 to speak with a manager. After sleeping in my car in a nearby parking lot the manager and hotels.com came up with the resolution that I would be refunded my original amount minus a day for penalty! I then had to rebook at a price that was $45 dollars more a night and they couldn't let me stay later because the room price would be going up and I wasn't willing to pay $220/night at a place that had been so selfish. The shadiness didn't stop there. Don't believe what you see! The shuttle isn't free I was charger $115 for the shuttle and not made aware until it showed up on my bank account. There is an automatic $50/day "deposit"

    Good 6.0
    Does Meet Embassy Suites Standards
I booked the hotel based on previous positive experiences with Embassy Suites and based on what the hotel offered in terms of activities. The room was great and the continental breakfast was very convenient. My complaints include: 1. Shuttle Service-there are only specific times in which the shuttle is offered. Universal Studios opens at 9am but the shuttle leaves at 7am. The Legoland shuttle to the bus stop to Legoland picks up 2 hours after the bus returns you to the stop at the end of the day. We ended up using Lyft. 2. Outdoor Activities-admittedly, it was chilly a few days (mid 60s). Being from MN, we wanted to do these as this is comfortable weather for us. The first attempt at this we encountered no staff at the cabana handing out basket balls, etc. On the second attempt, they only had one functional tennis racket and were out of golf balls. We gave up. 3. Swimming Pool-I chose this hotel as it boasted an indoor swimming pool as we were visiting in January. The pool is covered but one side is open to the outside. It was too cold to use several of the days. 4. Kids Programming - Very poor. Did not happen at scheduled times the two times we participated. On another occasion, it did not occur at all. During Bingo, a staff member participated and won a prize over the young children. Of the four days we ate breakfast, the children's activity/entertainment was only seen on one occassion. The hotel provided board games. Good luck finding pieces.
