Good spot for a Sentosa staycation
Good spot for a staycation and staff were very friendly. Food was OK, but preferred the nearby beach clubs for dinner. Social distancing was all handled well with bookable pool slots, but was quite quiet midweek, so not always necessary to book.

Worse 5 star hotel
As a 5 star hotel, I would say it was a not good enough service. Especially the staff working there, their behavior, response, etc. were lower than a 3 star hotel. Breakfast staffs never came to our table. No one answered the phone at the lobby. I:ve stayed at the junior suite but it was basically a prison, very dirty, some flies flying in the room, no sunlight. I asked for detergent but they were not able to provide. There were so many things i would like to mention

The hotel has a lovely setting around the pool with the peacocks walking around and very comfy day beds to pass the day. The breakfast was really disappointing. The food took a long time to come (being no buffet due to Covid) and was both quite cold and not well prepared. We ordered room service one evening and despite trying to order two different bottles of wine when our first choice wasn't available they actually turned up without any. We also had a call that no pizzas were available. overall it was a good break away from home but service and food could have been a lot better for the price paid.

Disappointing
We had a family Staycation in Villa 1 Au Jardin. Property was showing it’s age and the exterior furnishings and villa pool were not well maintained. The pool water had lots of sediment which were kicked up after a few laps. Service was also lacklustre perhaps due to undermanning due to the pandemic.
