Good hotel is just perfect
I love this place, been to plenty of fancy hotels, this is not one. However it's clean the folks are very friendly and accommodating. The location is perfect for me. Price is reasonable too. The staff makes it for me.

The first room had stained carpet and smelled like urine. The staff moved me to another room. Even the second room the carpet was stained. The hallway carpet was stained badly. A horrible place. I would never go back.

Great location, but on the edge of rough area. Price was great despite the SF Urban tax. Staff was wonderful. For those who need the very basics this is a solid choice. Walking distance to Capital Building, great coffee shops, restrauants, shopping. This hotel gave us the opportunity to see the real SF and not just the pretty tourist SF.
