    Good, but they've been better

I've stayed at The Line 3 times in the past two years, oddly it was better mid-pandemic. Transitions aside, this time was less than ideal however still better than some other stays I've had in Los Angeles. The hotel is conveniently located but you'll pay a premium for it. Although similar to others I've stayed in at the hotel, this room seemed rather "lived in" and small even though it was comparably accommodated. The all the amenities and restaurants were open but the staff was aloof and at times rude. The valet was impatient and in the future, I may look elsewhere when staying in LA.

Great location, but cramped and noisy

My room was quite loud, I was on the 4th floor, and tons of street noise even with the windows closed. Kind of strange furniture - the coffee table was not very useful, and the TV was pretty small relative to what is modern. But great location and comfortable bed. Fine for one guy for one night, would be crowded with two or for any length of time.

    Thicker windows

You should really invest in double pane windows. We could every single noise outside We were woken several times during our stay because of people screaming from the street. We were in the 10th floor.

    disappointed

I stayed here a few years ago and booked this place for this trip because I was satisfied back then. But I was a bit disappointed this time since the carpet smelled bad in the room and there was literally no amenity other than lotion, shampoo, and body wash even though they charged me extra for amenities. I am not sure if I would want to rebook this place.

Cool Industrial Cozy hotel with view

Love this hotel, room setup, desk setup, space, comfortable, and overall met all my inspections. I already booked future stay for my co-workers. I was disappointment on the waiters outside table/pool/service today 05/06/21. Several waiters ignored me for 30 mins and it had to grab a busser's attention to grab a waiter for me, and when I finally ordered my drink it took forever to bring my drinks and food. I give them a zero for lack of service.

Good hotel for what you pay for

The good: awesome on-site restaurant (Openaire), coffee shop (Alfred) and pool area. Nice places to just chill and relax. Get a high floor room for the view of the hills! Some good Korean restaurants nearby although you probably don’t want to walk around at night. Friendly staff, good price on rooms for LA. The bad: Attracts a younger crowd. Super loud neighbors. Had to call security a few times to get them to be quiet and this was on a weeknight. Sound travels between the walls at this hotel. Some of the outlets didn’t work either which was annoying. Parking at the hotel is over $40/day and hard to find nearby street parking. Dirty neighborhood around the hotel with lot of homeless people on Wilshire.

Excellent hotel with a great restaurant!

Great hotel! I’ve stayed here a few times and always very satisfied. I’m a big fan of their restaurant Openaire which is like a greenhouse next to the pool, such a great day time or evening vibe. They also have a cafe and great patio seating for the mornings. Solid location between downtown and Hollywood. Cleanliness - no complaints, hotel staff was so considerate and checked in during cleaning hours if I needed anything else. I’ll be staying here again in the future.
