Will definitely stay there again. I am in SLC a lot for the Dr. and this is worth the drive to the University even though there are hotels closer.

Room could've been cleaner, but overall great stay
A container of ice cream from the last guest was still in the mini fridge, hairs were on the bathroom floor, and there were visible smudges and fingerprints all over the wet bar cabinets. The soundproofing between rooms was great, but we could clearly hear into the hall. Otherwise our stay was great! The front desk staff were very kind and helpful. The pool, hot tub, and sauna were all relaxing, and we appreciated having scheduled times so they weren't too busy whenever we were there. Both beds, the king and the pull-out sofa bed, were comfortable. Breakfast was delicious (eggs, potatoes, either bacon or sausage, bagels, English muffins, fruit, coffee and juice).

Might Give it a Second Thought
The property is not as close to downtown as mentioned on the website. It definitely isn't "walkable". There were a few presumed homeless individuals loitering around the property and a couple of other individuals repairing vehicles in the parking lot. The parking lot was sprinkled with trash and there was mud/soil on the side entrance to the elevator.

Meh...
Quick trip with the family, our kids are 14,11 and 2. We chose this Hotel as it was close to downtown and everything we needed to get to, with that being said you are a bit too close to the homeless situation downtown. This side of downtown had alot more than other areas we noticed. It is a bit run downish but still ok, the breakfast accommodations with covid are great and the pool covid restrictions are great although not strictly enforced. The night staff is amazing very friendly the day not so much.

Worth every penny!
My family and I checked in for a 4 night stay. When we arrived we were given thr option for a free upgrade and received a very nice clean room with 2 queen beds and a pull out couch. The room was maintained well, the service we recieved from all of the staff was extremely helpful. We did have to reserve times for the pool which was easy to do and my kids loved it! There wasn't too much of a crowd and most of the time we had the area to ourselves. Breakfast was very minimal due to covid but a nice snack to get you going. Theres also a dennys and mcdonalds within walking distance to the property which was very convenient. For being downtown this hotel is very clean, quite and I didnt notice any strange activity. When traveling to salt lake we will definitely be staying here again!
