Nice hotel
A lovely hotel with welcoming reception staff. Rooms and facilities and breakfast all very good quality. Quiet comfortable sleep and nice shower/bath room. Only complaint was a barman closed earlier than meant to and only grudgingly served drinks 10minutes before closing time. Seemed a little petty/annoying.

Breakfast was awful. Hash browns were not just cold but chilled. Bacon also cold. Not told I was being charged for parking. Staff didn’t seem to care that the food was terrible, worst hotel I’ve stayed in this year despite the nice room.

My room was double booked due to a technical error. But from that point on the manager and front of house could not have been more accomodating, arranging a local hotel and transport to and from. Mistakes happen, but how this was handled was a credit to the staff.

Was surprised by the parking charge when checking in. I had received an email telling me that it was £7.00 for 24 hrs, but had to pay£9.00 as it had gone up ‘yesterday’. Room was spacious and very clean.
