For the cost the hotel was good enough. Clean rooms etc. The shower was a bit poor for my liking but for a stay on a budget it was good.

Nice hotel under renovation
Nice modern hotel close to the city centre, staff quite helpful and swift check in. Breakfast is not so good considering the value (food could be better) the hotel is definitely a good option to stay. They need to fix the a/c as the heating didn't seem to work.

Fair 4.0
When we arrived our intial impression was very good reception was lovely then checking in the receptionist was welcoming. We were given a room on the first floor (102) as soon as we opened the door we were hit with a very cold air and thought that the window was open as you could hear street noise so clearly, I went over to close the window but the window was already closed. We then went down for dinner and put the aircon on to try and heat the room. Dinner wasn't overly good, my friend got soup as a starter and when they went to cut their Guinness bread it was like a rock. Then they got a chicken burger for their main and the burger bap was also burnt so he took the chicken out of it and ate it on its own. When we back to the room it wasn't any warmer so I looked closer at the window I could see that top left hand corner wasn't fully closed but it was stuffed with tissue paper to try and stop the draft from coming in. I wasn't pleased with this for the money I was paying so I reported it to reception. They did moved us rooms and the second room was a lot better. When checking out we were not offered breakfast or dinner for the incconvience of moving rooms. Overall very disappointing for a 4 star hotel!
