Nice overall stay but breakfast needs work
The Pullman was well presented and very clean. Check in was friendly and efficient. Our room was spacious, although we found the king size bed overly soft, which caused a lot of roll together. We were able to transfer to a different room with two queen beds however, which suited is much better. The location was very good, with no noise issues. Breakfast was a slight let down however - on Wednesday and Thursday it was fine while the hotel was quiet, but both days over the weekend when it was busy the breakfast buffet seemed understaffed - tables uncleared and dishes running out or left empty - twice I had to ask for hot water to make tea and I also had to ask for bowls. The hot buffet dishes were generally lukewarm and the hotplates didn't seem to be up high enough. Some of the waitstaff seemed very new and untrained, although the manager/maitre D seemed to know what she was doing. This took the shine off a bit on an otherwise enjoyable stay.

Great Hotel that will only get better with time.
Overall a very enjoyable stay. The property is superb, being new, and is well located and very walkable to everything. The room is spacious and comfortable and house keeping was impeccable. I suspect, as the Team get practiced, the level of service will lift (it felt a little un organised but well meaning and super friendly, the systems probably let them down). Over all, I'll be back.

Check your booking if you have teenage kids
Very disappointing that even though we booked 2 adults and 1 child (16 years old) there was only 1 bed. When we questioned the front desk of the situation they just pointed to my booking and highlighted 1 bed and confirmed any child is expected to sleep in the 1 bed. When I asked for any other options I was advised no extra bedding was available and I would need to purchase another room as a solution. To sour the experience further the room was only setup to accommodate 2 people with towels, refreshments, bedding etc even though in the booking I had specified 3 and we had to ask for additional. Its a shame to write this review as I had high expectations of the Pullman and on many facets it delivered a 5 star experience with its cleanliness, quality of food and amenities but I wont be staying here again.

Awesome Rotorua Stay
Amazing visit, made even better by the awesome stay at the Pullman. New Hotel, with comfortable finishes. Open plan bathroom was not ideal for a family, but is perfect for couples.

Was a great hotel, however our circumstances weren't the best. Reception couldn't find our booking, waited an hour before they could find it. There was no parking on site so had to pay for valet parking, then was brought down the wrong car. The room felt like 40 degrees, couldn't turn the air con on or off, or even alter it. Luckily it was a cold night so by 2am the room cooled down.

Centre-stage, Rotorua.
Just reopened so clean, bright and shiny. Very comfortable, we enjoyed lovely views over the lake. Food and service at the restaurant were great. Some minor glitches with air con and room keys, but it happens when reopening. Limited car parking, eg. valet or on the street.

Remember to lock your hotel room door
Everything was great except a staff came into our room with his own key card when we were still inside. Nice buffet breakfast in the morning. Good location close to everything. Would stay again.

Converted office building.
This is a glass clad converted office building, and it feels it. Rooms are very odd configuration. Open plan bathrooms with glass boxes separating shower and toilet. Fine if single occupancy not if sharing with partner. Service with a smile but amateur This is an Accor managed hotel, not a fine brand in my view and this hotel does nothing to change my view.
