The staff is super-friendly. All of the perks are real; there is a soda machine and a soft-serve machine and the front desk is happy to hand you candy or snacks whenever you ask. There are free warm pastries every morning. They did our laundry and gave it back to us with a sprig of lavender. The pool is heated so swimming is fun even if the weather isn't very warm. They have a bunch of pool toys for your kids to play with. Our room was huge, and the bed was comfortable. It's an easy stroll down to Hollywood Boulevard from the hotel.

It is an older property but i would recommend especially for families visiting Universal Studios. It is a one minute walk to the metro station & one stop to Universal Studios. So easy.
